How We Can Learn From History — Especially World War Two

History is important — that's why we have to learn about it. To help us remember the important things that happened in the past.

A look behind this Artwork

Remembering those who had the courage to fight for the freedom of Europe, during World War Two in Normandy, France, 1944.

This detailed Digital Artwork pictures the soldiers of the U.S. Army, fighting for The Allied Forces on the day that is known throughout history as "D-Day" or landing day.

The brave soldiers are seen inside a small landing boat, that is used to land on the beaches of Normandy.

The weather is windy, cloudy and the overall colors of this Artwork are very gray-tinted and dark. I chose for these colors to get a feeling of tension, because this is a War situation.
