On today's busy society — with all its many distractions — it's really hard to not become a slave of all that seems good, but keeps you dragging on in a lifeless matter.
Hence, finding peace and balance can be a tough challenge. Especially If you've never learned to find your way when caught in stressful times, filled with insecurities.
But it's not that hard actually, it's mostly about finding yourself a quiet place — both in your emotions as in your physical environment.
When negativity comes, I usually won't let it take more than 5-10 minutes for me to distinguish what's really important and what's of no value.
Then, I kinda let go of everything (not the same as forgetting) and focus something else. Something that makes me feel good, like taking a walk, writing an article, creating an Artwork, or designing a part of the Website.
For as long as there is some sort of progress — instead of the gripping claws of negativity — the positivity of your mind, and body, will be restored.
You will find yourself in a completely different space, emotionally, spiritually, and physically as well. All your problems seem much smaller now and the balance is restore.
Like I said before, problems will always be here in this life, and there's no good reason to not keep them at bay.
Of course you want them to be fixed, especially the ones that seem to be right there in your face. But it's about restoring a sound mind that might be clouded by emotions.
It's important to have your peace of mind restored. Now the problems are still there of course, but you're going to be so much more resourceful in your thinking when you have a stable mind then a negative one.
When you've found something else to focus on, it really helps to see that not all is bad — in fact, you might actually be doing really well.
Some things are better off to leave alone for a while. For example, if you don't see the solution right now, try to leave it on the shelf for a while. Let it settle.
Your peace of mind comes when you see that problems don't have to intimidate you, tackle you, or paralyze you.
It shows you that you have a place in life, one that has great opportunities — today — and will lead you to a better place, where dreaming is still possible.
